Scholes: He needs to leave Bridge for a new challenge
COLE PALMER has been urged to leave Chelsea for a new challenge by former England midfielder Paul Scholes.
And Jamie Carragher has compared the playmaker's “frustration” with Steven Gerrard at Liverpool because “he was so much better than everyone else”.
The ex-Manchester City star had gone 10 Chelsea games without a goal before missing Sunday's defeat at Arsenal with an injury which has ruled him out of England duty.
The loss leaves Enzo Maresca’s side still in fourth place but in danger of missing out on a return to the Champions League next season.
