Cowardly criminal refused to attend court
A THUG who viciously attacked two sex workers has been handed a life sentence after he refused to go to court to hear his fate.
Mohammed Nadeem Hussain, 26, launched horrific assaults after meeting the women in Cheetham Hill.
He tried to rape one of them and badly beat the other, with both fearing they were going to be murdered.
He was due to be sentenced Thursday on but refused to attend court.
Judge Hilary Manley adjourned the case to give him another chance to attend, but he again refused. He was sentenced in his absence on
Friday to life in prison, with a minimum term of 12 years.
