MANCHESTER City has issued a heartfelt statement following the death of former manager SvenGoran Eriksson.
The Swedish boss, who also led England between 2001 and 2006, passed away yesterday morning after suffering from pancreatic cancer, his family revealed in a statement.
Paying tribute to him in a statement online, the Blues said he had led them to 'a campaign fondly remembered by many supporters' during the 2007/8 season.
