COLEEN ROONEY has talked husband Wayne out of becoming a boxer because she was terrified he would get hurt.
The retired England and Manchester United striker was recently approached about taking part in a fight by social media fight franchise Misfits.
But the 38-year-old dad-of-four is unlikely to be donning the gloves any time soon, and the decision has "delighted" Coleen, 37.
A source revealed: "She never wanted him to do it. Wayne has all the gear at home and she doesn't mind him training. She has even used the punch bag herself a few times to work off some stress and tension.
