Supreme Court clears path for Telangana Group-1 mains

The Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) had already scheduled the Group-1 mains exams to take place from October 21 to 27. Meanwhile, some candidates had approached the Supreme Court requesting a postponement, citing issues with G.O. 29.

A three-judge bench led by Chief Justice D.Y. Chandrachud heard the plea and ruled that it cannot delay the exams under the current circumstances. As a result, the exams will proceed as per the schedule, with the first exam set to begin at 2 PM on Monday.

The decision has brought relief to the candidates preparing for the exams, although there was tension among those who had sought a postponement.
