UP TO 30 STAFF COULD FACE REDUNDANCY
THE large Argos outlet in Plymouth city centre is to close this month but a "store-in-store" will open in a nearby branch of Sainsbury's. Bosses at the supermarket, which bought the Argos chain in 2016, have confirmed that the unit in the former Derry's building in Royal Parade will shut on the evening of October 17 in what will undoubtedly be seen as another blow for Plymouth's city centre. The following morning, Argos will begin trading from inside the Sainsbury's superstore in the Armada Centre.
