From the May Fair, to the Regatta and Christmas Festival, Saltash enjoys a number of community events, run by volunteers.
Saltash Town Council says it recognises the costs involved in running public events which are a valued part of Saltash life.
At a full Town Council meeting earlier this month, the council agreed to increase the Festival Fund limit to £2,500 per day up to a maximum of two days per event.
