The 11-deck, Bahamas-registered ship was due to leave Southampton yesterday and arrive at the West Wharf, Millbay this morning. Silver Dawn can carry 411 crew and 596 passengers, all of whom were due to come ashore in Plymouth.
Most will explore the waterfront on foot but a small number are expected to head off on trips to attractions such as The Box, Mount Edgcumbe and Buckland Abbey. Built in 2021, Silver Dawn is the third and final addition to Silversea Cruises’ Museclass fleet which features sister ships Silver Muse and Silver Moon.
