A FAT-fighting football club that has helped thousands of men across the country to shed the pounds has come to Plymouth. Man v Fat aims to help players lose weight through the sport they love.
In the last year, men taking part in Man v Fat’s Exeter and Torbay clubs have lost a huge quarter of a tonne of excess weight between them.
The programme launched in Plymouth last Friday, with weekly sessions at Plympton Academy.
The main aim of Man v Fat is to lose weight but organisers say participants have also formed strong friendships and improved their mental and allround physical wellbeing. The clubs encourage body positivity, non-judgemental behaviour and losing weight at a healthy pace.
