THE heartbroken mum of a 35-yearold Plymouth man who has now been missing without any trace for nearly four months has vowed not to give up the search for her son. Daniel Mizzi was last seen in St Ives, Cornwall, on December 8.
It is not known why he was there as his family have said he had no known links to the area. On the day he disappeared, Daniel left his home in the morning and caught a train to St Erth station at 12.08pm.
He then walked to St Ives. He was last spotted on the seafront at Porthmeor Beach at 1.28pm. His phone has been unresponsive since 6.40pm that evening and his family have received no contact from him.
Daniel’s mum, Karran Minchinton set up a missing person’s page on Facebook and also launched an online fundraiser to help her find her son. Now she has shared an emotional post on Facebook, telling of the toll his disappearance has had on her.
She said: “I cannot believe we have nothing since December 8. I miss him so much it tears me apart.
