PLYMOUTH CITY SUPER LEAGUE
Pearce showed he has more class than just endless scoring with a 16-darter in his 3-0 individual success, whilst team-mate Hayley Brant added her team's only maximum.
Reg Matthews fired the other three-treble visit in the match for the victors, whilst Dave Roberts showed his finishing prowess with a 114 three-dart combination out-shot.
Lee Dennis lit up Hyde Park's 6-5 defeat against Cherry Tree B with 12 ton-plus scores, which included one of the two maximums.
Team-mate Andy Hawes was the other maxi hitter for the defeated team, whilst Tony Reid showed his class with ten tons for the visitors.
Three checkouts in and around the ton mark were thrown down between the two teams with Reid's team-mate, Heather Toney, adding a 98 combination to proceedings.
Glyn Carpenter's 106 had to settle for second best for the home side and in the match as Bob Wood checked 115 for the best kill of the fixture and week across the second tier fixtures.
Unfortunately for Wood's side, they surrendered a 5-1 lead as the visitors from Pennycross reeled off five straight singles wins with Paul Hoare finishing the comeback with a 3-0 victory in the final singles.
Kings Tamerton A's visit to Victory, which ended 6-5 to the away side, saw a member of each party reach 11 tons for their night's work.
Danny Hoyle and Phil Ingram finished on that total and also met in the individual phase as Ingram was a 3-2 winner in spite of a 180 from the defeated player.
Ingram was supported well in the match by AJ Brunton who netted himself a ten-ton haul, whilst Hoyle's team-mate, Chris Hanwell, showcased his finishing prowess with a 114 out.
Nick Bryant ended his night just inside double figures for tons as his dectet helped leaders Beacon Park to an 8-3 win over Duchy A.
