WAYNE ROONEY TAKES POSITIVES OUT OF HULL CITY DRAW
CHRIS ERRINGTON
POSITIVES

WAYNE Rooney took lots of positives from Plymouth Argyle's 1-1 draw with Hull City but was 'slightly disappointed' his side did not get the win he felt they deserved with the scoring chances they created.

Dutch winger Ibrahim Cissoko gave the Pilgrims a 52nd minute lead in Rooney's first home Championship match as head coach, but Hull skipper Lewis Coyle replied with a terrific strike shortly after the hour mark. At least it saw Argyle put their first league point on the board in their second game of the season, following their 4-0 defeat away to Sheffield Wednesday last Sunday.

The Pilgrims bounced I back from that when they beat Cheltenham Town 3-0 in a home : Carabao Cup first round tie on Wednesday and there was reason for further encouragement for Rooney, as well as his players and the Green Army, after the display against Hull.

Rooney, inset said: "I felt we probably just done enough to win the game so a little bit disappointed we didn't get three points but it's important when you don't win the game you don't lose the game so lots of positives following up from last week.
