Viswam writes to Centre on rising airfares on Onam

CPI state secretary and former MP Binoy Viswam has written to the Centre on the exorbitant surge in the airfares from the Gulf countries to Kerala during the Onam season.

In a letter to Union Minister of Civil Aviation Kinjarapu Rammohan Naidu, Viswam pointed out that Onam is the most prominent festival of the people of Kerala and decried the huge rise in fares during the festive season.
