Asian Paints net profit plunges 43% on weak demand, revenue down 5%

NEW DELHI: The country's largest paint-maker Asian Paints on Saturday reported a steep 43% year-on-year plunge in consolidated net profit at ₹694.64 crore, down from ₹1,205.42 crore a year earlier on weak demand, which though fell by 5.3% to ₹8,003.02 crore in the September quarter.
