Slams Cong For No Mention Of Patel In Adverts

PM: Enemies trying to brea India’s unity, need to be firm

Kevadiya/Tharad: Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Monday that India’s enemies were trying to break its unity and that the country should stand firm against them.

The PM’s comments came after paying tribute to India’s first home minister, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, on his birth anniversary, observed as “Rashtriya Ekta Diwas”, at the Statue of Unity (SoU) in Kevadia, Narmada district.

Later in the day, the PM targeted the Congress over Sardar Patel’s photo not featuring in newspaper advertisements given by the party-led government in Rajasthan and advised its leaders to first connect with the man who unified India.
