The P-81: Dedicated to India with a decade of regional maritime security

Boeing's P-81 platform has played a crucial role in reshaping maritime operations, bolstering the Indian Navy's capabilities, and enhancing security across the Indian Ocean. With over a decade since the Indian Navy received its first P-81 aircraft and fleet of 12, accumulating over 40,000 flight hours, the P-8I stands as a significant asset in India's defence strategy, making India the second-largest non-U.S. operator of this advanced platform.
