Bill Slavicsek is perfectly qualified for fantasy worldbuilding. An incredible tabletop gaming career spanning decades, which included work on the original Star Wars roleplaying game (and writing the Star Wars Sourcebook) and Dungeons & Dragons to name but two, began in the 1980s with answering an ad in the New York Times.
“It was a blind ad for a game editor,” he explains. “Turned out it was for West End Games”. He would go on to work for TSR and then Wizards of the Coast, writing new stories in existing universes as well as inventing new worlds of his own. In 2011 he interviewed for ZeniMax, where he serves as lead writer and narrative director for ESO today.
