DOGGED DALE WILL NOT BE MOVED!
The Non-League Football Paper|September 08, 2024
ROCHDALE cruised to victory with a superb first-half performance which settled the age-old debate as Dale's immovable defensive object blunted Aldershot's previously irresistible attacking force.

DOGGED DALE WILL NOT BE MOVED!

The home rearguard again proved fallible, as mistakes contributed to the two goals which gave Jimmy McNulty's side a decisive early lead. Thereafter, the meanest defence in the division overcame the loss through injury of goalkeeper Luke McNicholas to keep a fifth clean sheet of the season with consummate ease.

Replacement David Robson, playing his first game in over 10 months, enjoyed a surprisingly stress-free debut.

"There was some brilliant work from the team with and without the ball. I'm very proud of the team," praised McNulty.
