The Monaco royal has moved out of the palace and set some ground

CHARLENE TELLS ALBERT 'I'LL ONLY SEE YOU BY APPOINTMENT!'

has the beautiful blonde princess who famously broke down in tears at her royal wedding 12 years ago – after finding out that her husband-to-be Prince Albert had three illegitimate children – finally broken free from her gilded cage?

According to shock new reports coming out of Europe, Princess Charlene, 45, is now living in Switzerland and will only see her royal husband for “ceremonial reasons” for the foreseeable future.

BREAKING TIES

Charlene, Albert, 65, and their eight-year-old twins, Princess Gabriella and Prince Jacques, recently spent the European summer sailing off the French island of Corsica, kayaking and snorkelling together as a family.

But it seems even that quality time wasn't enough to change Charlene's mind, with the drastic move to see Albert purely for official purposes signalling what many royal experts believe could effectively be the end of the royal marriage.

"She looks desperately unhappy and I'd be surprised if her marriage to Albert doesn't eventually end in divorce," royal author Phil Dampier tells Woman's Day.

"Her big problem is that she would never be granted custody of their children and she would only be allowed to see them when Albert agreed - and he would not agree to them living away from Monaco."

Charlene's move to Switzerland comes after she reportedly tried three times to leave Monaco before she and Albert tied the knot in 2011.
