Go! Drive & Camp
|April/May 2025
You don't buy an Invader because you want a camper. You buy one because you want an Invader.

Invader’s campers are unique: when you’re towing one, it’s the size of an off-road trailer, but once set up, it offers the space of a caravan.
What’s more, there are only three models to choose from – the Duo X or Duo Xs, which sleeps two, and the Quattro X, our test model, which sleeps four. Invader’s focus isn’t on adding more models but rather on getting things right. Their success speaks for itself.
Both models have a fiberglass body. The Duo’s roof lifts pneumatically, and the bed slides out over the nose cone. The Quattro’s front bed also folds out over the nose, but its second bed folds open over the rear.
The Quattro X is light enough for most towing vehicles and built to handle even the toughest road conditions.

1, 2, 3... all set up
As with the previous Quattro we tested in 2020, the manufacturer sticks with the same corner steady configuration. There are two drop-down supports at the rear, plus a loose one that fits onto the A-frame opposite the jockey wheel. It works brilliantly because the front of the Quattro doesn’t rest on the jockey wheel – the extra stabiliser foot does the job of two standard front steadies.
