Recently, my therapist told me to get a hobby. I thought back to the last time I’d had time for one— the dance class I had enrolled in at the age of eight, just for the fun of it. Somehow, I kept it up for a full decade before it dawned on me that I was wasting my time; I was never really going to make a career out of dance.
