Two couples touting decades of restaurant experience brought this caffeine-and-booze mash-up to Chicago. "We love to see laptops gradually closing and coffees turning into espresso martinis as the day goes on," says Truce co-owner Sarah Kmiec. Inside the sexy brick-and-wood space, both a.m. and p.m. drinks embrace specialty ingredients like date molasses and ginger-turmeric syrup.
