Midnight party takes on Kali Chaudas superstitions

On Kali Chaudas, the science-based non-profit 'Vigyan Jatha' attempted to enlighten people against blind beliefs with a unique midnight celebration in Talala, Gir Somnath.

Some women of the town carried out a mock funeral, taking a symbolic effigy of black magic to the crematorium. A procession with people dressed as ghosts dancing accompanied the 'funeral'.
