Tributes after woman found in River Dee

TRIBUTES have been paid to a much loved woman whose body was found in the River Dee at Llangollen.

Jane Edwards, 66, of Llangollen, was found in the river on Saturday October 11, which sparked a major operation by the police and fire service.
Ms Edwards was well known in the Denbighshire town after being born and raised in the community. She was an active member of the St Collen's Parish Church congregation.
Priest-in-charge of Llangollen Group of Churches, Father Lee Taylor, paid tribute to Ms Edwards.
He said: "Everyone in Llangollen is feeling the shock and sadness of losing Jane Edwards.
