Former MP arrested for assault at paddy procurement centre

Police arrested former MP from his residence on Friday for allegations of assault and disruption at paddy procurement centre in Dhapera Mohgaon, Lalbarra tehsil.
An FIR was registered against Kankar Munjare and four associates based on a complaint by the centre in-charge and a computer operator, who accused them of assault and obstructing operations on December 27.
