Hello everyone! While last week we looked at one very hectic and unusual day, this month I made a diary of everything I got up to each day for a whole week. My weeks are usually crazy and busy with lots of horsey goings-on, as well as a few trips away from the yard.
Monday
I'm up at the crack of dawn to head to the stables it's going to be a big day. Why, you ask? Well, BBC News is rolling in to interview me. They're interested in my social media channels and the children's books I've been writing this year.
I meet up with my friend Lydia at the yard and we make sure our beloved four-legged friends are fed and ready for the day. After mucking out the stables, we spend four hours giving my four gray beauties gleaming makeovers, making sure they look like stars.
But guess what? Just as the cameras come out, the heavens open up and rain begins pouring down, so we end up filming the interview in my tack room (see photo). All that grooming for just a headshot in my slightly less polished tack room ... well, that's life!
In the afternoon, I take Casper and Joey for a leisurely trail ride to stretch their legs and to clear my head after the busy morning.
Tuesday
Weather dictates my work, and if it's a gloomy day, I steer clear of filming and focus on meetings, editing, or my podcast.
