Despite having roadside promotional boards and banners stolen and vandalised, this year’s Biddenden Tractorfest and Country Fair on August 19-20 attracted a record attendance of more than 11,500 people – up 1,500 on the previous year, says Peter Love.

Sue Boon, Chair of the event’s committee, said: “Tractorfest has grown to become well known as an event that is fun and affordable.

The atmosphere on both days was excellent and lifted the mood of all the volunteers involved who had been annoyed and worried about the damage and theft of their roadside advertising, prior to our event."
