What is the vision for GUJSAIL till the year 2025?

The vision of GUJSAIL is to proactively work with various enablers of aviation industry and departments of State Govt. for timely reserving suitable sites for future growth of aviation assets and industries in the state of Gujarat. GUJSAIL also focuses to facilitate skill development, trade and tourism, modernisation, cargo facilitation, water aerodrome and seaplane operations as its core focus areas.

Please provide an update on the GUJSAIL aviation park?

GUJSAIL has envisaged the demand of potential aviation growth of future and has come out with a concept of India's first ever comprehensive aviation set up in form of an aviation park at Rajkot airport of 100 hectors which is large enough space for setting up of all the components of aviation industry at one location for ease of doing business by creating an ecosystem which would provide integrated solution for aviation sector.

What has been the response for GUJSAIL's aviation training institute and has it been impacted due to the pandemic?

FTO at Mehsana GUJSAIL has at present created three state of art airfields in Gujarat in which it plans to house different kinds of Aviation Training Institutes. As a first step a flying academy was opened in Mehsana in 2007, since then Mehsana airstrip has made a name for itself in the area of training and at present M/s Blue Ray Aviation is running various flying training programs approved by DGCA and at any given time has 70 to 75 students being trained with training at the state of art Infrastructure provided by GUJSAIL and the training equipment and facilities created by the selected FTO.

We are proud to say that FTO has been approved by CESSNA and US training aircraft manufacturer company as their training center in India.
