Parineeti Chopra isn't a shy celeb (and thank God for that). Here, she talks to us about love, life, and why she always speaks her mind.
We're scheduled to interview Parineeti Chopra-the 27-year-old powerhouse who's just four years in the industry with six box-office hits to her name-at 12pm, and we're prepared for a delay (as is the case with most stars). But it's still two minutes to noon, and Parineeti's on the line, ready for a rapid fire. That's Parineeti for you-a celebrity who's extremely professional, and about as real as they come. Could that be why she is often typecast as the girl-next-door? We ask Parineeti if she sees herself as a real woman's woman, and her response is quick. "I think it would be quite pompous to say that! But I do think I'm relatable. Maybe because I didn't really have the actor's gene or the filmy keeda in me, so I haven't been tainted by the 'industry norms' just yet. That's probably why people can see themselves in me."
