The world is fixated on beauty that is based on external appearances, but when we look deeper, we find something much more precious than that: the beauty of goodness. The goodness of treating people right, the goodness of tending to animals who cannot speak for themselves, the goodness of cleaning up the environment for future generations, the goodness of unconditionally helping those around you.
Femina and Mamaearth joined hands for Beautiful Indians 2022, an event held on April 5 at St Regis Mumbai, to celebrate the beauty of goodness among creators, celebrities, corporates and people at large.
"We started Mamaearth with a vision to serve a greater purpose," said cofounder Ghazal Alagh, adding, “We made our products toxin free, and initiated brand promises such as Plant Goodness and Plastic Positive. We have always believed that doing little acts of goodness makes people truly beautiful. With this thought, we partnered with Femina, the epitome of beauty standards, to join us in this journey of finding Beautiful Indians and celebrating them at the event. We hope this partnership grows and we are able to identify and celebrate more such stories in the future as well."
Editor-In-Chief of Femina Ambika Muttoo said, “My sincere congratulations to all the awardees of Beautiful Indians 2022, who have made their mark in the world through the beauty in their deeds. Their small acts have uplifted people around us, making the world truly beautiful. We would also like to extend our gratitude to Mamaearth, our partners, and our guests, who, with their support, made the night a resounding success.”
