Serendipitous start
“I remember my college days when I was a student of garment manufacturing. I used to sneak into design classes and spend most of my time at the college library, surfing through the latest trends and designs. I was destined to be in the industry serving art, culture and fashion,” recounts the New Delhi-based designer and NIFT alumnus, who was felicitated at the prestigious 21st Century Icon Awards 2019 for the brand’s overall performance.
As someone who’s been largely intuitional for the most part, Isha’s mantra for success is rather lucid. She believes in trusting the process, and most importantly, enjoying it. “Whatever you do, don’t think about reaching the destination; enjoy the journey, embrace and celebrate the process. Do everything to the fullest, with your heart, and everything will fall into place exactly the way it’s meant to. Enjoy the present and believe that your destination will magically unfold!
Interestingly, the logo of the brand is inspired by the teachings of the Bhagavad Gita, she reveals. As a staunch believer of gratitude, Isha acknowledges the goodness in life. “I’ve learnt gratitude is the highest vibration… the more gratitude you feel in life, the more reasons you attract to feel grateful about,” she opines.
