A SHOCKING shakeup at “CBS This Morning” could be flailing golden girl Gayle King’s last stand at the network, according to insiders.

Former football star Nate Burleson is set to replace newsman Anthony Mason in what sources claimed is a last-ditch bid to please Gayle and save the flagging show!

Insiders told The National ENQUIRER Gayle demanded a younger, hipper co-anchor, rejecting former “Today” co-host Billy Bush in favor of Nate!

“TV is a visual medium and while Anthony may be a great journalist, Gayle wanted a hot guy to make the show sexier!” an insider snitched.

Sources said producers were wary of Bush’s tainted reputation over sexist comments that cost him his “Today” gig in 2016. Bush’s rep denied he was passed up by the TV network.
