Victoria Beckham: 'I'll Always Be A Spice Girl'

She’s been posh. She’s been style. She’s been mum – and the british designer’s not done yet!

Ten years in fashion, two decades married and a lifetime as a Spice Girl – Victoria Beckham has plenty to celebrate. And now the debut of her latest collection at London Fashion Week has marked the first milestone moment of 2019 for the 44-year-old mum-of-four.

The woman, otherwise known as Posh Spice, is humble about her success as a designer, emphasising her family and 20-year marriage – quite an achievement given the scrutiny she and David have been under throughout their lives and careers.

As Posh and Becks celebrate, the other Spice Girls will be adding to the nostalgia with a comeback tour. Here, Victoria puts the record straight about how things stand with Scary, Sporty, Ginger and Baby – and it’s fair to say that Girl Power continues to influence her as a designer and mother…

‘I’ll always be a Spice Girl!’ she enthuses. ‘It was great to travel the world, to be with my best friends, have fun and really spread the Girl Power message. It was about empowering girls through music – but now, for me, it’s about empowering women through fashion and making them feel like the best version of themselves. I’m sure when I watch the girls [on stage], there will be a little part of me that misses it. It’s like your four friends all going out for the night and you know you can’t go. They really are going to put on the most fantastic show.’
