Christmas came early for Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis as they were treated to a festive pantomime at the London Palladium.
The event, held to thank key workers for their efforts during the pandemic, marked the Cambridges’ red-carpet debut as a family of five – so we can’t blame them for looking more than a little bit excited!
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge held hands with their children as the quintet made their way up the red carpet, much to the delight of onlookers – and some juggling elves!
The family pulled out all the stops for their night out – Kate looked elegant in Alessandra Rich while her mini-me Charlotte, five, opted for festive tartan. The princes, meanwhile, styled themselves after their dad in jaunty jumpers.
The family looked delighted as they took their seats in the royal box for Pantoland, starring Julian Clary and Elaine Paige and featuring performances from Beverley Knight and Diversity.
Little Louis, two, was perched on his mother’s lap as he adorably pointed out a glitterball on stage. Meanwhile, confident Charlotte chatted away and big brother George, seven, sat waiting for the exciting event to unfold. Before the show, William made a speech, thanking key workers for their phenomenal efforts during the Covid-19 pandemic, saying, “It’s wonderful to be back here in the West End and see theatres reopening… Catherine, George, Charlotte, Louis and I are all really looking forward to the show.”
