Is Your Bestie Ruining Your Budding Relationship?
In today’s times, when ‘friends like family’ is the new mantra, your besties play a significant role in your romantic relationships. Remember how Sonu, the cynical millennial, comes to his childhood bestie Titu’s rescue every time he faces heartbreak and convinces him to stay single? Sure, the whole ‘exposing my friend’s girlfriend for the witch she really is’ premise was exaggerated in Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, but fact remains that friends can exert a tad too much influence on your budding new relationship and not always in a healthy, constructive way.

Even seemingly nice and trustworthy pals could be ruining your relationship without you even suspecting it. If you find yourself jumping in and out of seemingly perfect relationships, or believing something is wrong with you, the real reason might be your friends. Their actions could be prompted by jealousy, malice or a concealed attempt to be better than you. When it comes to love, friends can sometimes be serious backstabbers. What’s worse, they could be doing it just for fun!

Watch out for these situations to gauge if your best friends are sabotaging your relationships…

INSTANT CRITICISM

If your friends are quick to knock every person you are interested in and tag him as being obnoxious or ugly, it’s time to give their opinions a re-think. With the influence they wield over us, friends can quickly have us thinking even a perfect match is just wrong.
