The date was set. The venue was chosen. And Jennifer Lopez was happily planning what an insider describes as “a fairy-tale wedding” to Alex Rodriguez at their new Malibu home in September when, suddenly, all of her preparations came to a screeching halt. “Jen’s devastated by claims that Alex cheated on her for months, right up until he proposed,” the insider says. “She’s having serious doubts about his character.”
As a result, J.Lo may not walk down the aisle without some serious insurance. Sources tell Star that the singer had her lawyers draw up an ironclad prenup to ensure that her $400 million fortune — and her dignity — remain intact. “She’s crazy in love with Alex, but she’s no fool,” the source says. “The wedding has been put on hold, and everything’s up in the air. Jennifer won’t commit to anything until Alex agrees to her terms.”
