THE SCANDAL-PLAGUED COUPLE ARE UNDER STRAIN AND LIVING APART

In the wake of Hilaria Baldwin’s heritage scandal (which saw the star accused of a “decades-long grift where she impersonates a Spanish person”), her living arrangements with husband Alec have become a new source of speculation.

The 30 Rock star has been snapped solo at Starbucks picking up coffee and food and the New York Post reported on January 12 that he has taken up residence at a rental house in Amagansett, New York, about 1.5km away from the family’s 18th-century Hamptons farmhouse. Alec has said the separation is a temporary solution while the actor commutes into Manhattan for work amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

“I go into New York and work a little bit and come back and have to quarantine here for a few days,” he said in a December Instagram video. “It’s not a lot of fun. I can’t have contact with them until after the quarantine and I get tested again.”
