Meghan & Harry Speaking out

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are continuing to throw their voices behind causes they believe in, despite drawing heat from many corners for breaching protocol that demands political neutrality from members of the royal family.

Speaking solo, Meghan, 39, was asked by Fortune magazine editor Ellen McGirt to share how she’s dealt with speaking her mind when “a sitting president has taken a shot at you, mobs come at you, and powerful forces try to take you down”. Meghan revealed she doesn’t listen to all the “noise” out there and instead focuses on living a “purpose-driven life” and follows her “own moral compass”.

Meghan added “if you listen to what I actually say, it’s not controversial”, and that “there are always going to be naysayers”.

It’s clear in their new life in California, the Sussexes – largely driven by Meghan’s influence – are feeling more and more free to express themselves without the restraints of royal expectation.
