Wanderlust, combined with a fervent love of gastronomy, really led Dolores Au to carve out her niche in building sleek lifestyle destinations — KU DÉ TA, Catalunya and now, VLV, her latest multi-concept venture housed in a historic 1880s conservation building in Clarke Quay — that are both iconic and modern at the same time.

“When I visit major cities like London, Paris, Vegas, I feel a vibrancy in their destinations that goes beyond the food and beverage offerings,” the CEO of VLV said to Motherhood on what inspires her. “There is a global trend for well-rounded lifestyle destinations that go beyond food and service, where a night out could be a quality meal and entertainment all in one venue.”

Finding such dynamic offerings sorely missing in Singapore, the marketing maven wants to place the nation on the global stage with VLV. Already encouraged by the warm response that her newest venture has received, she plans to expand VLV into new destination cities and industries worldwide in the near future.
