Our homes are indeed our best secret keepers, so why not pamper them with some love and a bright makeover? Citadel brings you a smart guide on how to REVAMP YOUR HOUSE this Diwali…
We all dream of possessing a magnificent house each festive season! To our delight, we can achieve that even without buying a new house, as interior designer Varsha Deshpande of Versatile Interiors doles out a few tips to make your house look more spacious.
She states, “Diwali is an occasion when friends and families meet and greet. So, the interiors should be welcoming. Instead of cozy arrangements, it should be open and wide. We need to squeeze in more seating for better accommodation. Instead of big bulky sofas, small and trendy love seats, single chairs with footrests and a centre table in between add dimensions to the rooms. Mirrors can do magic in any area. It can add more illusion to a space and the reflection of light actually amazes people. It can be on an entire wall or a piece of decorative mirror is also fine.”
Adding further inputs, Poornima Lunawat, another interior designer from In Decor Interiors suggests, “Paint yourwalls white, it will instantly widen your space.”
