25 youth from Kashmir graduated as solar and electrical technicians from the Art of Living International Centre’s Skills Development Program.
In the midst of escalating tensions in the Kashmir valley, the Art of Living has taken up an initiative to engage with Kashmiri youth in the area of holistic skills development and leadership development.
“We have been working in Kashmir since 2001. We’ve set up free schools and taken up several projects there. Kashmiri youth are an integral part of this country and we need to support them and give them proper education. It’s not just about giving them skills training. It’s about making them feel included and making them understand the importance of spreading peace in order to be prosperous,” said Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, speaking about the program.
