After releasing her debut ep khoyi rahun in 2020, Madhya Pradesh-bred, Mumbai-based singer-songwriter Trishita Recs (who goes by her first name) had a rough battle with COVID-19 and dysthymia. She says, “It didn’t allow me to be my most productive self.” However, Trishita was still able to release her single “Sab Ruk Sa Gaya,” drop a music video for “Tum Mujhe Jaante Ho” off Khoyi Rahun, and even made her debut as a playback singer on the Netflix series Yeh Kaali Kaali Ankhein with the song “Humra Sajaniya.”
