Bradley Walsh is a glutton for punishment!

Over three series and a Christmas special of ITV’s fun travelogue Breaking Dad, the showbiz multitasker has gamely tried his hand at all manner of adrenaline-fuelled activities (including skydiving, bull riding, and abseiling forwards down a building) arranged by his son, Barney.

And now Bradley, star of The Chase and The Larkins, is bravely hopping back in their trusty RV for another epic adventure, as the duo’s hit show returns for a new six-part outing.

‘Gogglebox, that’s the show I want to be doing!’ says Bradley, 61, smiling ruefully as he and Barney, 24, join TV Times for a chat about their latest escapades.

‘We’re free-diving, throwing ourselves off football stadiums, bobsleighing – I don’t enjoy any of it! You’re out of control and I’m a control freak! Why do we do all of these crazy things?’

The first two seasons saw the pair test-driving dangerous experiences in America, and last year they began exploring Europe. The fourth series sees them on European soil again for a 3,000-mile tour that takes them from sunny Croatia to the Arctic Circle. Here, Bradley and Barney tell us what to expect…
