Tribe leader, Bobbi Paidel is a Canadian, who after having a successful career in fashion left Toronto with her girlfriends in search of something extra-ordinary. While she was in India, she was guided and inspired by a dear friend and with her support she began to consider what this life is, what she has to offer and what she wanted to create for herself and others. Her dream for freedom and service began to take shape. Today the Tribe leaders, Bobbi Paidel & Phil Haley have been able to fund more then 33000+ projects and have helped 584 children. We got a chance to ask the Tribe all about their brand and we think it’s a story worth sharing.

What exactly is Tribe of Lambs?

Tribe of Lambs is a “for purpose” jewelry brand raising funds and awareness for HIV Positive Children in India. We fund our projects primarily through the sale of our jewelry which we design in Canada and produce in small artisan workshops in the Indian communities where we work with the children. It is our mandate to support and empower those children and women infected or affected by the challenges faced in India towards HIV positive persons. The challenges stem from stigma and discrimination in the communities, along with other social and economic setbacks in the overall status of the country.

UNTTLD (Simon Belanger)

UNTTLD (Simon Belanger)

Luxurious, domineering, and vibrant – three words that solidly define UNTTLD’s incredible showcase of their F/W 2018 collection at Toronto Fashion Week. Adorned with black headdresses (or hats), the models that graced Yorkville Village’s runway flaunted boldcoloured velvet dresses and boss-lady outfits. Since 2011, designer duo Simon Belanger and Jose Manuel Jacques have been creating lux pieces that reflect on masculine feminity to emphasize the capabilities and desires of the modern woman. We had the opportunity to speak to Simon shortly after the show about their one-of-a-kind collection that is truly one to reminisce.
