New challenges in post-lockdown landscape
The new challenges post-lockdown phase is to take exceptional measures to keep goods moving to store shelves and consumers’ doorsteps. We ensure that the delivery of products reaches consumers with safety and hygiene taking into consideration. The pandemic has heightened health and safety concerns for manufacturing employees on-site. With this, we now face a new set of hygiene measures to ensure employee health and safety with new protocols, while continuing production and productivity. Each business will need to translate this into the specific actions it needs to take, depending on the nature of their business, including the size and type of business, how it is organised, operated, managed and regulated. There have also been a colossal move and changes with our new reach/assortment because of this pandemic. Unlike most other consumer categories that either recovered or have seen demand surging after the pandemic-induced lockdown, some discretionary products such as clothing and footwear industry are still struggling to mop up higher sales.
Consumers have become very selective in their spending and prefer buying only essential and required products. More focus for us as a brand is to make footwear that is comfortable yet provide the health benefits to their feet, therefore we are incorporating new technological improvements in our footwear.
