If you’re an experienced pilot who’s looking for a plug-and-play intro to electric jets, this quick-build, high-performance model deserves your attention. Underneath the eyepopping, tiger-striped livery of J-4053, the historic Swiss Air Force jet of Fliegerstaffell 11 is an EPO airframe with a laser-cut lite ply battery tray and carbon-fiber wing and horizontal stabilizer reinforcement spars. The Hunter comes with all radio gear installed, including Detrum 9g metal-geared servos on the ailerons and plastic-geared servos elsewhere, split flaps, dual elevators, and electric tricycle retracts. The installed power system consists of a Skylord 80-amp programmable speed control spinning a screaming TomCat 2200Kv brushless in runner with a 70mm 12-blade fan. All hardware less the wing screws is already installed, complete with ball links at the servo pushrods. The electrons flow via a recommended Gens Ace 3300mAh 6S 60C LiPo.
Other features of the Hunter include fully assembled wings with all electronics connected via a single plug, and a brief but easy-to-follow instruction sheet. Scale 150-gallon drop tanks and missiles are included as well, but the tanks lack the tiger striping of the prototype. All that’s needed are the batteries and a quality six-channel or more aircraft radio and receiver.
As simple as the Hunter is to assemble, with only eight steps listed on the instruction sheet less the decal application, Dynam lists the model at Skill Level 3 for experienced intermediate and advanced pilots.
Speaking of decals, a high-quality model deserves equally high-quality decals. This Hunter sports a custom set of high-quality Callie Graphics decals. I have several models finished with Callie Graphics decals and there’s no one better in the business than Callie Soden.

PRODUCT REVIEW: RC PLANE STANDS BENCHTOP MODEL
I’m a sucker for shop stuff. I buy tools I will probably never use just because they are cool, or I might need to use them someday. When Glen from RC Plane Stands reached out about a review, however, I knew as soon as I browsed their website that I would be receiving something I would use a lot, maybe even daily.
