Mibo Jets 1/4-scale A-10 Warthog
Christened “The Grande,” the new 1/4-scale A-10 Warthog from Mibo Jets is a true showstopper! Following the success of Mibo’s 1/5.8-scale Generation 6 A-10 Warthog, this impressive 1/4-scale beast is truly humongous. With a wingspan of 172.5 inches and a length of 160 inches, this amazing RC jet has a dry weight of 154.3 pounds.
Using a NACA 6716 airfoil at the root and a NACA 6713 at the tip, the Warthog has excellent fl ight performance. For power, the airframe is designed for two 250 to 300N turbine engines. It has a fuel capacity of 15 liters (507.21 fl . oz.)

PROJECT DETAILS
The Mibo Team involved in project includes Tomaz Meze (CAD and aerodynamic design), Michael and Markus Wurm (scale detailing), and Bogo Stempihar and team (mold manufacturing and production). Mike Selby did the prototype engineering and test flying.
The model is completely CAD designed and all tooling plugs were milled for high accuracy and later manually detailed to a museum-scale grade to make the airframe as authentic as possible.
