Artificial Intelligence
The future is AI. The way AI is changing every industry, it would have been a shame if the photography industry didn’t get affected by this technology. In the future, the focus will be on AI and not on sensor or megapixels. Maybe even the way we record light in the cameras right now can change in future due to AI.
AI is pretty prominent in the smartphone world and it is being used extensively for photography as well. Apple introduced A11 Bionic neural engine chip that powers their current generation of iPhones. Pixel 2 featured dedicated image enhancement chip to help with image processing on the fly. Huawei P20 Pro is packed with AI features, such as real-time image scene recognition etc.
Leap Motion
After the advent of touch screens for PCs, people started to find more ways to interact with computers. The concept of leap motion is all about interacting with your computer in a more revolutionised way. To put it in a nutshell, Leap Motion can be more accurate than your mouse, keyboards and it would give a way better feel than touchscreen. It’s almost like controlling your own AI through hand gestures and movements.
