MADRID, LATE JUNE and the europäisch Meisterschaft 2016 is in full swing, with Spain playing against italy this evening. the air is dry and warm and the summer sun bathes the city in a dense syrupy golden light. my first thoughts, riding in the car to my hotel, was how much that light reminded me of the splendid lookbook images that Jonathan Andersen, creative director at Loewe, and photographer Jamie Hawkesworth had concieved.
Indeed, Andersen has catapulted Loewe into one of the most sought after brands in fashion right now. He has revamped the entire visual language of the brand since stepping into his role, and continues to refine and redefine his vision for the house with every collection.
