So, what is an alpha state of mind?
Scientifically, it is explained as where the brain operates at partial conscious awareness and partial subconscious predominance at the same time, in cycles between 9Hz & 14Hz. From my experience and understanding, it simply means that one’s mind is relaxed. It is a state of mild daydream or light relaxation.
Do you remember a time when you were very focused on something, or so engrossed in doing something that you lose track of time and the activities happening around you? This is an alpha state of mind. But you may find that when you deliberately try to get into this state of mind to make a wish, it is difficult to focus, and you are unsure about whether you are in the right state of mind.
Each person’s Qi Men Destiny Chart has his or her own personal Destiny Palace marked by a direction based on his or her Day Master. That Palace contains your own unique Destiny Deity or Guardian Angel. There are all together Ten Deities under the realm of Universe in Fa Qi Men studies. In this issue, we will show you how to activate and cultivate the Nine Heaven Deity. This will be beneficial whether or not the Nine Heaven is your Guardian Angel. When you are connected strongly and intuitively to your Guardian Angel, you do not have to go into the alpha state of mind to make wishes. This makes wish making a lot easier.

The Nine Heaven Deity’s special abilities come from visualization. Those who have this Deity as their Guardian Angel have the potential to see the future and will be able to create what they see in their visions. What they see in their mind or in physical form, they will get. On one extreme, the Nine Heaven’s influence can result in a “build castles in the air” mentality. This ideal can result in daydreaming, and unrealistic demands and wants.
